Description
Dagala Thousands lake Trek of 8 nights and 9 Days trek will take you into an area adorned with a multitude of pristine, crystal clear lakes during you trek. As you walk amidst the shimmering lakes you’ll be treated to stunning views of the entire Himalayan mountain range and some of the world’s highest peaks including Mt. Everest, Jomolhari, Masang Gang, Jichu Drake, Gangche Ta and many more mountains you come across.
On your trekking, an entire day you will be dedicated visiting some of the more picturesque lakes, fishing and resting. The trail also takes you through several Bhutanese villages so you can get a good idea of traditional Bhutanese village life as you make your way back from the lakes.

Itinerary
Our guide and driver will greet you at Paro International Airport and drive to Thimphu. After lunch, explore Thimphu city. Visit Tamchog Lhakhang to see one of the oldest Iron Chain Bridges. Check in at the hotel.
Visit National Memorial Chorten, built in 1974, and Buddha Point, home to the world’s largest Buddha statue.
Overnight at hotel in Thimphu
Start the day with a 7 km, 5-hour trek. Drive to Genekha, descend to a stream, and ascend to Gur, located above a yak pasture.
Overnight Camp at Gur
Continue trekking for 12 km, covering 5 hours. Traverse lush meadows and rich vegetation, with views of Mt. Kangchenjunga. Reach campsite near Lake Uthso.
Overnight Camp at Labatama
Explore Labatama and take a short excursion to nearby lakes.
Overnight Camp at Labatama
Trek 8 km in 4 hours, passing Lake Dala and ascending to a peak (4520m) with a view of Everest. Descend to Panka.
Overnight Camp at Panka
Continue trekking for 9 km in 5 hours, crossing passes to reach Talakha Monastery. Enjoy a view of Thimphu valley.
Overnight Camp at Talakha
Trek 6 km in 4 hours, descending to Chamgang village. Drive to Paro, visit the National Museum and Paro Dzong.
Overnight at hotel in Paro
Hike to Taktsang (Tiger’s Nest) after breakfast. Visit Kichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest temples.
Overnight at Hotel in Paro
After breakfast, your guide and driver will take you to Paro International Airport for your onward flights, concluding your Bhutanese journey.
