Arrive at Paro International Airport and be welcomed by our representative. Transfer to your hotel, and after some rest, explore Paro town. Visit the Paro Dzong, a majestic fortress overlooking the Paro valley. Overnight in Paro.
Attend the Paro Festival, a vibrant and colorful event showcasing traditional Bhutanese dances, masked performances, and religious rituals. Immerse yourself in the festive atmosphere and witness the unique culture of Bhutan. After the festival, explore more of Paro or take a leisurely stroll. Overnight in Paro.
Drive to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. En route, visit the Tamchog Lhakhang Iron Bridge and the 15th-century Tachog Lhakhang. In Thimphu, visit the National Institute of Zorig Chusum, showcasing traditional Bhutanese arts and crafts. Explore Thimphu town in the evening. Overnight in Thimphu.
Visit the Buddha Dordenma statue and the Changangkha Lhakhang in Thimphu. Drive to Punakha, crossing the scenic Dochula Pass. Visit Punakha Dzong, set at the confluence of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers. Take a short hike to Chimi Lhakhang, the temple of fertility. Overnight in Punakha.
Punakha – Paro Visit Punakha Dzong. Drive back to Paro via Thimphu. Overnight in Paro.
Early Morning attend the closing day of the Paro Festival. Experience the concluding rituals and celebrations. If time permits Hike to the iconic Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Taktsang) for panoramic views.
After breakfast, guide and driver will see you off at Paro international airport for your onward destination.
