Your journey through the enchanting kingdom of Bhutan commences as you arrive at Paro International Airport. From there, you’ll be transferred to the capital city, Thimphu. The day’s itinerary includes a visit to the serene Chorten, a stupa that symbolizes the faith of Bhutanese people. After a delicious lunch, you’ll explore Dechen Phodrang and the magnificent Trashichoe Dzong, where Bhutan’s government and monastic order coexist harmoniously. Your first night will be spent in a comfortable hotel in Thimphu.
Today, your journey takes you to Wangdue Phodrang, with a visit to the Simtokha Dzong en route, and a drive through the majestic Dochula Pass, offering breathtaking views of the Himalayas. You’ll also catch a glimpse of Wangdue Phodrang Dzong from the outside. After lunch, you’ll continue your adventure by transferring to Trongsa, where you’ll spend the night in a cozy hotel.
