  • Greeted by your guide and transfer to the hotel.
  • Visit National Memorial Chorten, honoring King Jigme Dorji Wangchuk.
  • Explore Thimphu Dzong, the largest fortress and royal seat.
  • Buddha Point at Kuenselphodrang, home to a colossal bronze Buddha.
  • Overnight stay in Thimphu.
  • Drive to Punakha via Dochula Pass, known for 108 chortens.
  • Visit Chimmi Lhakhang, the fertility temple.
  • Explore Punakha Dzong, a stunning winter residence for the clergy.
  • Attend a briefing for the Bhutan International Marathon.
  • Overnight in Punakha.
  • Attend pre-race briefing at THE NEW MULTI-SPORTS HALL.
  • Packet Pick Up and race check-in.
  • Mandatory pre-race briefing after Packet Pick Up.
  • Overnight in Punakha.
  • Full Marathon starts at 7:30 am, reporting at KHURUTHANG TAXI PARKING.
  • Half Marathon starts at 7:30 am, reporting at KHURUTHANG TAXI PARKING.
  • Buses leave Punakha Dzong at 5:30 am for the start line.
  • Both events finish at Punakha Dzong.
  • Overnight in Punakha.
  • Head towards Gangtey and the Phobjikha Valley.
  • Observe black-necked cranes (seasonal) and visit Gangtey Goempa.
  • Enjoy the serene atmosphere of Phojikha Valley.
  • Overnight in Phojikha Valley.
  • Return to Paro, exploring the scenic Paro Valley.
  • Visit Paro Dzong (Rinpung Dzong) and Ta Dzong (National Museum).
